Oscar de la Renta

This man, born in the Dominican, studied in Spain and quickly became an apprentice with Cristobal Balenciaga, then became a couture assistant at Lanvin. He then began working with Elizabeth Arden, and designing clothes and shoes for Christian Dior. He took over Jane Derby's label when she died. He now makes some of the some of the most beautiful evening wear and wedding dresses on the market.

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only.
Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with
ideas, the way we live, what is happening.

Some quick updates and shout outs.

RIP Elizabeth Taylor
a classy lady, an icon.
(February 27, 1932-March 23, 2011)

In other news, the F.A.M.E. album dropped March 22nd :)
And let me be the first to tell you that YOU HAVE TO GET IT.
The thing I really like about it is the wide variety that it offers. This CD is dedicated to the fans and it really is everything we love about Chris Brown, plus some sick collaborations. There are a couple softer songs, like She Ain't You, alongside the upbeat dance songs, like Look at Me Now. Of course, there are the songs that make you want to well...you know. :)

Go buy it and support #teambreezy. :)

I am pretty sure that I will be attending Old Dominion University in the Fall. :) I will keep you updated, but I am pretty excited about it. Norfolk, Virginia is about to have a new resident. <3

Have a good Wednesday everybody. I'm going to leave you with a song that you HAVE to listen to if you like Rap/R&B.
It's so good. :)

Let's Catch Up.

MUSIC UPDATE:
Currently, I am obsessed with a couple different songs, so CHECK EM'. :)

1. Sure Thing- Miguel; Im a hopeless romantic and this song is super cute. Makes you think about that boy in ya life. :)
2. Far Away- Marsha Ambrosius; She has the most beautiful, pure voice. This song is sad. Kinda the opposite of the first song, but all girls need a song to feel sad to, and this is the perfect one.
3. She Geeked- Sean Garrett feat. Gucci and Tyga; Okay, so this is old...but i love it. Makes me wanna go CLUBBIN' haha.
4. Blow Up- J. Cole; The song is a good song to ride to. I listen and sing all the time. It makes me feel like I am talking to all the people who have every hated on me. haha. :)

MY FAVORITE FASHION PICKS
Okay, now that music is out of the way....lets talk about some fashion-y stuff. I am actually really liking those off the shoulder shirts. They are so cute. You can dress them down for a bum kinda day, or dress them up for a party or a date. Love em. :)

I am also really feeling heels with skinny jeans lately. I am really tall, so I try to stay away from heels, but I found some cute short heels and they are adorable with my skinny jeans. Good with jeggings too. :)

Oh, one more thing.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep Japan in your prayers. The earthquake and tsunami that hit them has devastated the country. Remember these people and be so very grateful everyday for your life. The death toll is expected to exceed 1,000 people.

Convoy of Hope's Disaster Response team is in contact with partners in Japan and identifying areas in the greatest need of assistance. You can donate online at convoyofhope.org or text TSUNAMI to 50555 to donate $10 toward the relief efforts.

MOB Girls :MTTM

Other Bitches Just Front

Okay girls, I am going to be showcasing one of my favorite brands, Married To The Mob.

Here's a little about the brand, and the visionary: Leah McSweeney
Growing up in a city like New York, you're only as good as the crew that you run with and the name of the label is Leah's tribute to the "Most Official Bitches," who through the ups and downs and highs and lows never failed to have her back. Design inspiration for the label is literally up from the streets of New York and its clubs, secret hang-out spots and smoke-filled parties, making MOB equal parts chic, smart-mouthed, and definitely not-to-be-messed with. No doubt it's all New York attitude, but in the three years since it was founded, the MOB label has found female fans all over the globe who can identify with its street smarts.
Here are just a couple pieces from the collection, but check more out here

Check it out.

Yeezy Taught Me ♥

Rosewood  ♥ Yeezy

Kanye West, who might be the most controversial person in the business right now, has put out a brilliant album and movie. The artistic aspect of Kanye's new movie and album have shown a new side to Kanye's personality. I can say that I really respect Kanye and everything he has to say. If you don't like him, at least appreciate that Rosewood swag and every song he has ever sung, because they are all amazing.

"Yeezy taught you well, Yeezy taught you well"
